Dr. Farah Deshmukh is board-certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Columbia University affiliated Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, New York. Dr. Deshmukh furthered her knowledge by pursuing a 2-year fellowship in obesity medicine and nutrition at Northwell Health in New York and subsequently joined Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey as the Director of the Obesity and Lifestyle Medicine program. She also serves as core faculty for the Internal Medicine residency program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She is dedicated to implementing obesity and lifestyle medicine in primary care, clinical research and residency training.
