Dr. Angela Cornelius is Associate System Medical Director for the Fort Worth Office of the Medical Director. Primary responsibilities include Mobile Integrated Healthcare and EMS Innovations. She is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine with TCU/UNTHSC who practices at John Peter Smith Hospital as core faculty EM Residency. She is boarded in EM, Family Medicine, and EMS and holds a master’s in International Disaster Management. She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Academy of Emergency Medical Services. She has been active in disaster medicine and EMS for over 10 years and serves as the past Chair of the American College of Emergency Physicians Disaster Medicine Committee and Chair of Air Medical section and the NAEMSP Emergency Preparedness Committee. Current administrative projects include creating more robust community paramedicine programs and EMS induction of buprenorphine.
