Dr. Jennifer Lycette is a hematologist/oncologist focusing on rural community practice for the past seven years. Her inner writer emerged as a surprise but became her secret weapon in recovering from physician burnout. In nonfiction, her writing has been published in NEJM, JAMA, JAMA Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and The ASCO Post. She is a regular contributor to Doximity’s Op-Med since 2018. In fiction, she was selected as a 2019 mentee in the Pitch Wars Mentoring program. She lives with her husband and their three children on the North Oregon Coast.
