Dr. Niran Al-Agba has been a pediatrician in private practice in her hometown for 19 years. She writes an op-ed column about politics and medicine for the Kitsap Sun newspaper. She is a board member of Practicing Physicians of American and has four elementary age children.

She is the co-author of Patients at Risk: The Rise of the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant in Healthcare.
