What to Expect

A warm welcome to all of you!

Dr. Candace Good & I cannot begin to express how excited we are about this event. We are working hard behind the scenes to bring to life an exciting content-packed three days that's perfectly balanced in order to properly teach, inspire, and get each of you pumped about writing, without any of the "overwhelm"..

We are still setting up the "stage".

Here's the nutshell of what to expect:

The summit is a virtual one, and doors to it will open officially on Feb 25, 2021, at 6 AM EST.

It is being roughly split into 3 topics, over the course of the 3 days:

Day 1: Books

Day 2: Blogs

Day 3: Op-eds

Each day's pre-recorded lectures will be released starting at 6 AM, on the hour.

Feel free to watch them at your convenience, and then join us for the LIVE Q&A session in the afternoon (we've schedule them after-hours, in the hopes you will be home from work by that time).

Aside from these pre-recorded sessions, all other parts of the summit will be unfolding LIVE.

Don't worry if you're working, or can't attend some of them, as we will still be recording them for you to watch after. The footage will all be accessible for 1 month after the end of the summit.

The LIVE portions include:

Two workshops, run by professionals of the trade (exact details coming, and you can find them here, below).

We've got a Pulitzer-award winning journalist among the faculty!

Each of these workshops will be followed by an interactive, small group breakout session, facilitated by a physician writer.

We've also JUST secured an ADDITIONAL live lecture, delivered by an accomplished physician writer (and winner of "The Moth Grand Slam"), which we've squeezed into the lineup to make the summit even sweeter.

Otherwise, we've got networking, entertainment, and even fun, all planned out, not to mention this:

The finale, where we're hoping to close things up with a bang:

The 'Book and Idea Expo' aimed at both aspiring and accomplished authors alike, and will be an exciting way to showcase you, your published book, OR the topic you look forward to writing on. The goal will be to get your work out there, and in front of more eyeballs. We'll fill you in on more details at the event!

That's it. * wipes brow *

We know, it's A LOT!

Oh, wait. There's one more thing:

We're planning an optional BYOB Zoom event the night before the summit officially begins, to simply say hello and get everyone excited. So mark those calendars if you're around.

Check out the schedule summary of all that's above in the course curriculum. It's available to view anytime.

We'll see you on the inside.

(though we're here for any questions you may have)

Counting Down,

Dana Corriel and Candace Good
