Dr. Erin C. Mayfield, DO, Dip ABLM, DipAOBOG, moderator, loves partnering with patients to work as a team and help them achieve their best health! They do this with their telemedicine practice called Lifestyle Medicine Wellness and Recovery, LLC, offering an online coaching program in plant based nutrition, exercise, stress management and cooking classes. Bonus sessions include recovery meetings and women’s health. All classes live and interactive.

Dr. Schacter is an osteopathic trained medical doctor that is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is a Distinguished Fellow with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Her scope of treatment begins with early childhood through adulthood. She is also a speaker for various organizations on managing stress and burnout and understanding gender differences in its presentation and management.

Dr. Trisha Schimek, MD, MSPH, DipABLM attended medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where osteopathic philosophy is understanding the whole person and exploring beyond the symptoms. It is a person-centered treatment that explores the causes, vulnerabilities, disease symptoms and their interplay to promote wellness. She has a private psychiatry practice based on an interactive teaching model to help patients and their families understand the intricacies of their diagnoses, treatment options, prognoses, and plans as they evolve throughout their care. She continues in her osteopathic approach to helping people reach wellness by using the tools a person has within themselves and assisting them with understanding the dynamics involved in achieving wellness through education, therapy and medication as needed.  

Dr. Schimek is board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She has dedicated her early medical career to working in under-resourced settings domestically and globally. She currently works in a California county health system as a primary care physician and faculty in a Family Medicine residency. She has a passion for helping her patients prevent and reverse chronic disease and loves celebrating her patient’s success and motivating them through tough times. Beyond lifestyle medicine, she has expertise in comprehensive maternal and child health, reproductive justice, clinical procedures, medical education, provider wellbeing, and transgender health.

Claudia C. Guillen, DNP, AGPCNP-BC is a bilingual primary care nurse practitioner, educator, and founder of Bites of Health. With over 15 years of clinical experience, she serves a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population at MGH Chelsea Health Center, where she integrates lifestyle and culinary medicine into chronic disease prevention and management. Claudia has taught and led health programs in both English and Spanish across community centers, academic settings, and churches. She is the creator of La Comida Como Medicina, a culturally grounded, bilingual nutrition program rooted in culinary medicine, faith-based empowerment, and evidence-based practices. She also coordinates the Medical Assisting Program at Middlesex Community College and has taught healthcare students for over 16 years. Claudia holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and a Diplomatura en Estilo de Vida from Universidad Peruana Unión in Lima, Peru. She is a certified Food for Life instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) and is currently pursuing certifications in Culinary Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Her clinical work, teaching, and research have been featured through Harvard Dental School’s integrated care model and Mass General Brigham’s community wellness initiatives. She is a 2025 recipient of the HEAL Scholarship from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
