Rebecca Pickens is a writer in northern NY. During the long winters there, she writes literary fiction. In the bright bursts of summer, her attention turns to flash fiction. Her short stories have been nominated for the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers and, most recently, The Pushcart Prize. She is currently at work on a novel. Rebecca is also a book coach and developmental editor who feels privileged to work with new writers, seasoned storytellers, and all the folks in between. She is passionately committed to helping fiction and nonfiction writers develop sustainable habits and techniques to ensure they write bravely, boldly, and beautifully with maximum efficiency and success.
